Liz joined Thornton Jones in 2004 and now co-owns the firm with Clare Thornton and Steven Eldridge.
Having practiced for many years as a highly successful Family Solicitor, Liz now specialises in Private Client work offering advice in relation to Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorneys and Court of Protection Deputyship applications. She is a qualified Trusts and Estates Practitioner having attained a Distinction in the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates Administration. Liz also undertakes contentious probate cases and claims under the Inheritance Act and is currently undertaking the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialist accreditation.
Liz loves the variety that life as a Private Client lawyer brings, particularly as she is often able to offer a unique perspective given her family law background.
When she’s not working or studying, Liz loves to spend time with her husband and their young daughter which leaves little time for anything else!
