Lucy is one of our newest members of the team, starting at Thornton Jones Solicitors in September 2025, after completing her A-Levels.

Lucy is the daughter of Clare, our Managing Director, so has come to us to gain some valuable experience of working in an office environment. She began her career with Thornton Jones as a Junior and, through her hard work and dedication, has progressed to become an Admin Assistant within our Client Relations Team, where she plays an important role in supporting both clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys socialising with her friends and family, and has recently taken up hot yoga!

Jess and Natalie have been dealing with our conveyancing case for over 18 months and throughout that time, I have found them to be both proactive and sympathetic to our situation, which was appreciated. We used Thornton Jones for our previous house purchase and again this time, and while the situation (separation and tandem house moves) was incredibly tricky to tie together on this occasion, they somehow managed it, which we were incredibly grateful for. We normally go to a larger solicitors for all our services but due to the other buyer being the executor we needed to find another solicitor. I did what I usually do and asked on Facebook for advice and Thornton Jones came up as a good local solicitor for house moves, so we connected with them. We had quite a complicated house move (well if felt complicated to me, but it might have been normal to them) with probate taking much longer than expected and lots of miscommunications with the executor also being the solicitor from the other firm. But Anna and Olivia dealt with them all in a calm, reassuring way. I would not hesitate to recommend them for house moves, their knowledge and expertise was incredible and reassuring. Making sure that every little detail was checked off before willing to proceed. I really hope not to move again, but I would certainly use again if I am crazy enough to attempt it! Thank you ladies for making such a stressful event as smooth as possible.
